Using a Maxiglide to straighten natural African American hair
I recently transition from putting a relaxer in my hair to natural. I love my natural locks, however once in a while I love to have my hair straight. There are many cheap ceramic iron brands and I have tried some of theme with not so good results. After researching and looking at reviews, I decided to buy a Maxius Maxiglide and the results were great!
The great results came when I understood that it is not only using the Maxius Maxiglide but also what products I use in my hair. I wanted to start off with clean hair so washed and conditioned my hair. Afterwards, I used a Denman brush to detangle my hair and I braided my hair into 12 sections. More sections can be use if needed but I decided on just 12 this time. I left my hair alone to air dry. After my hair was dried, I undone the braids one by one spraying each section with heat protectant as I went. I made sure to pay particular attention to the ends so that I would not get split ends. I than took really small sections of my hair and put a very small amount of Marcel Curl Wax at the root. Finally, I used the Maxius Maxiglide at setting5. With only three quick swipes, my hair to each section of my hair, I had straight hair. It looked as if I had a fresh relaxer in my hair.
After a few days, I washed my hair and checked to see if I had any heat damaged which I did not find any. Using the wrong product and too much heat can prevent natural hair from reverting back to its natural state once straighten. With the Maxius Maxiglide and the right products I had no problem going from natural to straight. I would definitely recommend the Maxius Maxiglide.

Thanks for the information. Do you use the Maxiglide everyday? Does it make your hair fall out or damage your natural curls?
