Balloon Boy's Father lies!

Falcon Heene, better known as “Balloon Boy”, was first thought to have taken a family’s experimental balloon for a joy ride. However, when the balloon was found the boy was not inside. Fearing that Falcon Heene may have fallen out of the balloon, the ground crew continued their search for the young boy. They followed leads and were finally able to locate the young boy. Falcon was hiding in the attic in a box.
After this long ordeal, the parents were interviewed on CNN.com. It was there that the world learned the truth about this little stunt. It seem as if his parents had put him up to it because when asked, Falcon Heene replied that he “did it for the show”.

What should CBS do about Dave Letterman?

David Letterman, host of “The Late Show with David Letterman”, recently admitted to having sex with several women on his staff. He since have apologized to his wife. On one side, there are people who believe David Letterman should be fired from CBS because he created a hostile environment by sleeping with his staff. According to a recent CNN article:

The National Organization for Women has sharply criticized comedian David Letterman, accusing him of promoting a hostile, uncomfortable work environment.

“The latest Letterman controversy sheds new light on the widespread objectification of women in the workplace,” NOW said in a statement Tuesday. “Most women can attest to the fact that many workplaces are plagued with inappropriate behavior by men in power.”[click here to read the entire article]

And on the other side, many people believe this sex scandal is great business CBS. Ratings will go up as the women come forward one by one to tell there side of the story.

Personally, I believe that CBS should do nothing. As far as everyone knows, rape and force was NOT used. It was relationships between consenting adults. It seems as if society is against the rich and famous having affairs and that a punishment is needed. Let’s not forget the women involve here.

They had to know that David Letterman was a married man and that sleeping with anyone they work with would be seen as a negative. As the list of women in the David Letterman sex scandal grows, I wonder if anyone would question what CBS should do about them.
