Does Brazilian Hair Treatment Work on African American Hair

I have written an article on Bukisa called  The Brazilian Keratin Treatment for African American Hair (click here to read it).

Since that article, I have had women emailing me asking if the Brazilian Keratin Treatment  works on African American hair. The answer is yes, it works great on African American hair. My hair type is 4a. However, it works better if you have been putting a relaxer in your hair. Virgin hair, hair that have not been chemically altered, does take the treatment but not as well as relaxed hair.
