Video: Cheerleader gets Dystonia? disorder. Was it the flu shot?

Many people refuses to get the flu shot because they believe it is dangerous. However, the Center for control of disease and prevention, insist that the flu shot is safe and is the best way to help prevent influenza. The newest debate is a video of an ex-cheerleader for the Washington Redskins named Desiree Jennings.

Before she took the flu shot, she was healthy and active. Ten days after getting the flu vaccination is when her health problems began. According to her, she had two seizures for which she was hospitalized. The doctor diagnosed her with Dystonia.

Today, doctors have not found a cure for Dystonia. In fact, they do not 100% know or understand how Dystonia, a rare neurological disorder which causes uncontrollable muscle spasms, is caused. In the video below, we can see that Desiree Jennings has trouble walking and talking while going forward but strangely enough she is fine with running forward and walking backwards. She also have trouble talking when she is still.

This video have sparked a heated debate. One one side, there are people who are calling this a hoax and on the other side people are using this video as proof that the flu vaccination is dangerous. However, there are no solid evidence that the flu actually is the caused of her disorder.

How Have You Been Affected by Swine Flu (H1N1)?

We all know that the swine flu, also known as the H1N1, has been on the news for quite sometimes. In fact, it had become a widespread pandemic across the United States. Many people have caught the swine flu (H1N1) and some even died from it. I have not caught the swine flu (H1N1) but my sister did.

The day before my sister became terribly ill with the swine flu (H1N1), she complained about her throat being sore. I had advised her to drink some tea with lemon and to make sure she kept herself warm. She has a tendency to leave the house with her hair a bit damp from taking a shower so I thought nothing of it. However, the very next day she woke up with a very high temperature. She waited until noon time before going to see a doctor. That was when she was diagnosed with the swine flu (H1N1).

Of course, it threw me into a panic and I was constantly phoning her to make sure she had taken the necessary medication. I was really scared of losing her to the swine flu (H1N1). My mother flew in to be by her side. She wanted to make sure my sister was resting and eating properly through it all. Thankfully, she’s alright now and I can finally breathe a sigh of relief. To some people, the swine flu (H1N1) is just like any other flu strain out there. It’s just over-hyped by the media since people died from the H1N1 this year.

I am curious to know about my readers. So post in the comments below, your answer to the question:
